Haiku for You is a collaborative internet art project. That sounds kind of scary, but the idea is really simple.
Every day we post a new, original haiku image inspired by story submissions from readers like you.
Members of our blog community write to us with an idea they would like turned into a haiku. This idea centers around a word or phrase and is accompanied by a short story or explanation a few paragraphs long as well as the contributor’s name and town. The explanatory stories provide additional context for the haiku and tie together each day’s post.
Our hope is that the confluence of these different stories from different people in different places will make a compelling experience for everyone who visits Haiku for You. It’s a fun way of tying together the arts of storytelling, poetry, illustration, and design that we think you’ll love.
