Here’s Richard’s story:

“Having grown up during the automobile Renaissance of the late 1950s and early ’60s, it saddens me to think that children growing up today have never been driven around in a stylish cruiser.  They don’t know about the beauty of aerodynamics or how sharp those fins looked on a ’57 Chevy.  They’ll probably never drive a car with a hip two-tone finish and I don’t think I’ve seen a real hood ornament in the past decade.

Cars used to mean something. They were a statement about your personality and about our country at large.  It makes me sad to know that there will probably never be another era for automobiles like the one of my youth.”
