Here’s Lizbeth’s story:

“After I went away to college, my parents sold the house I grew up in and moved to a new town not too far away.  When I would come back on vacation, I naturally only spent time in their new home.

On a recent visit, I realized it had been years since I’d visited or even seen the old house and decided to drive by and take a look at the place that had been the setting for so many formative memories.

It was shocking to see it before me, stripped of its magical glow.  The alterations the new owners had made felt perverse and strange.  It looked small and empty, nothing like the warm, vibrant place I remembered so fondly.”
