Here’s Anonymous’ story:

“I tend to daydream a lot. It’s obviously not a conscious thing, it just happens.  Sometimes I don’t want it to happen, but it’s beyond my control. My teachers hate it — everyone thinks I just don’t pay attention in class.

It’s not always bad, though, as it’s easy for me to block out any kind of noise. For example, on a crowded bus I can easily read a book and not be bothered by the noise. I don’t know if the two are connected, but I know that my daydreaming has nothing to do with a lack of focus.”

I recommend the writer of the story to research the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Personality test. Some types of people are more prone to daydreaming. I am also a daydreamer.

You might be an introverted NF or an NT. You might not understand what these terms mean but I urge you to take the test.
