#0108 | between love and loss

Here’s Sana’s story:

“I could not ask for a more awesome human being to like, and lust, and love, but since we graduated college and now lived six hours apart, sometimes my mind wandered to other proximal people when I wasn’t riding Amtrak or the Chinatown bus back and forth for visits.

I realized after he started hooking up with another girl that my feelings were real, and that for now I had missed my chance if I were to have decided that those feelings were worth pursuing.

But part of me hopes that they are a better match for each other than he and I would have been, and that something that prevented me from acting on what I felt was for the better, and that being stronger and more in love with my long lost Bostonian boyfriend is worth more than compromising over a sexually-depraved affair and the chance of losing him… well, that and my new vibrator.”

I really like the haiku, although I feel the grey text should be red… I would have the text in red because sooner or later we choose the right one. Because you only need to pick one of the billions available to you today… well, unless intergalactic forces capture and enslave our planet in an hour. I keed, I keed. So go out and find the one before E.T. busts a laser cap in yo a$$!
