Here’s Anonymous’ story:

“I am starting the healing process after a lifetime of sexual addiction. To make matters worse, I’m female and have never physically enjoyed any of my encounters. They were simply ways to feel wanted at the time.

Unlike many, I don’t have a bad childhood or sexual abuse to explain my addiction. I only have a lifetime of being “different” and trying to fit in with the only thing I had - being physically attractive. I guess I got carried away.

It’s a scary time for me and means re-learning everything I know about my value and self worth.”
