#0088 | that is some foul fowl.

Here’s Kendra’s story:
“Every morning I make the commute from my little apartment in Chinatown to my job on the Upper East Side. This trip involves walking past a number of Chinese restaurants and meat markets, many of which take great pride in displaying the freshness of their poultry. So along with my cup of coffee, I’m treated to a panorama of bloody animals hung defiantly in all of these shop windows.
I don’t want to be ethnocentric or anything, but it’s hard for me to see this stuff first thing in the morning without turning my stomach. I guess I knew what I was getting myself into when I signed that lease.”

Who doesn’t enjoy the sight of meat hanging in the window? I bet more than anyone, the chickens, ducks and other animals on display would rather be roaming free under the sun. Such is the way of life. Bon appetit!
