Here’s Diane’s story:

“TV and movie writers are on strike, and things are messy down there in Hollywood. As a fan, it’s hard to know my favourite shows will be off the air, but it’s harder still to know that the writers who make those favourite shows my favourites have to fight to get a fair deal.

There are people out of work — people who didn’t choose to strike — and the future TV season and even the future of the industry could be seriously affected. So there’s nothing to be happy about and little for a fan to do but send moral support to the writers and hope for a speedy resolution.”
