“Like many children, I was obsessed with dinosaurs when I was growing up.  It was always so much fun to imagine what it would be like to share a planet with these unlikely animals, a fantasy nurtured by the symbiotic utopia of The Flintstones.

As I grew older, it became clear that not only had such a period of overlap never existed, but that if it had we likely would have been little more than dino chow.  Even so, every time I catch an episode of The Flintstones while flipping through channels on the television I’m reminded of those childhood thoughts.”
