Here’s Kate’s story:

“When I moved from my mom’s house in Kansas City back to school in Fulton, I transferred from the Chipotle where I was working (ten minutes away on a bad traffic day) to a store in Columbia, Missouri (which is generally a 45 minute commute).  I’ve been working there for about a month, only on the weekends, but my shifts are ridiculous. I am exhausted between that job, an internship, another part time job I hold on campus, and being a full time student.

I finally got a call back from a video store where I applied in Fulton to eliminate my commute (and the percentage of my pay checks that I spend on gas) and I was wondering if I could get a haiku to tell my bosses at Chipotle that I’m moving on.”

Fucking brilliant!

I suggest more of life’s important turning points be immortalized in haiku form.
