Here’s Lily’s story:
“”When I had my heart broken recently, I made the decision to go far away and try to do some soul searching. I decided to fly to London after buying a compilation mixed by a British DJ. All summer I anxiously awaited my trip and the anticipation of it kept me from feeling depressed about the state of my personal affairs.
I was lucky to meet people when I arrived since I was traveling by myself, but my new friends soon headed off to their final destinations in Europe. My first Saturday in London I ventured to a club that a local had told me about a month earlier. It was in this dark place that, after meeting a string of strange people, I found Brendan, who is perhaps the most down-to-earth guy I’ve ever met.
We spent a long time talking and I left the club at 5 a.m. He was working at the time but fortunately was self-employed and was therefore able to take time off of work to spend with me during my stay.
In the two weeks I was there he showed me around the city. We ate at cafés, sat around in squares, visited museums, and walked the cobblestone streets of London. We spent a lot of time in the parks, laying on the grass and watching the clouds pass overhead. We talked about physics, art, and religion.
I did not go to London thinking I would find Brendan. I just wanted to be myself again. I’m thankful for the time we had together.”

A spelling error in a Haiku for You haiku? I can’t–no. No. I won’t accept it.
But I can’t ignore the facts…
This pains me.
Oh Psssh. Not everyone realizes the word “unforeseen” contains the silent “e”.
They could place a [sic] under the haiku. Anyway, it’s cute!
This is so lame!?!?! Having 2 travel 2 the other side of the world 2 find love. Can it be anymore PATHETIC?
Cindy, I think you answered your own question: complaining about it is far more pathetic.
