#0016 | Beware of ninjas.

Here’s Pete’s story:

“I work at a supermarket and have this bad habit of making nicknames for my fellow co-workers.

We have a new person working there named “John.” John is a blithering idiot. His problem is that he annoys everyone that works there. He’s already making many enemies and he has only been there about a month.

John has been dubbed “The Ninja.” The reason is that ninjas are invisible until the last moment when they appear. People will start talking about him behind his back and John will show up out of nowhere. My co-workers and I warn each other when we see him coming, so warnings of “Beware of Ninja” are often heard.

As much of a bane as John is, I get the satisfaction of knowing I have most of the people at the supermarket calling him by his nickname… which just makes my day better.”
