#0004 | love is a wormhole

Christy’s story:

“A little more than two years ago I met Jason at work. We bonded instantly and the experience was unlike any of my past friendships. We were kindred spirits, and even though we came from different worlds we found something in each other that made us more complete.

What Jason and I share is very rare, a once in a lifetime kind of friendship. We see and understand the beauty that lies within each other and are never embarassed or hesitant to express it. Others have always had a problem with this as they don’t understand how our relationship could possibly be platonic.

Now Jason is moving away, embarking on what will certainly be a stepping stone to greatness, and I’m left to deal with the sadness that comes with losing the physical proximity and closeness we share. However, our friendship is undefinable and it will transcend the physical space imposed on us. I know there is no distance this friendship cannot overcome.”

And for those who are curious what the heck the physics metaphor in the haiku means, here’s a bit of an explanation… Psst, it’s about rendering large distances insignificant.

Love surrounds us over short and large distances…it’s who we see radiating the love that makes is so meaningful…I’m happy I see it radiate from CHRISTY! I love her beyond space and time…and if people are uncomfortable with it…I feel sad for them…J

Very good but then it is all relative anyway. ;-)
